There is a need for African Scientists to pick up skills to produce internationally competitive scientific articles, so that the continent can join the table for progress in science. Writing effective scientific papers requires practical guidance, commitment and resolve in order to deliver content of acceptable quality and overcome the known challenges.
It is in this light that the Nkafu Policy Institute, think tank of the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation invites you for our “Workshop on Scientific and Manuscript Writing”. This training will take place on November 2 & 3, 2023 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
The Workshop has as objectives to:
- Train young African scientists on the power and process of scientific writing
- Create a network for mentoring in scientific paper writing
Participants will have the choice of either attending onsite in Yaoundé at GFAC Hotel or online on Zoom (Link will be sent upon registration)
Training fee is 15000 XAF ($25) for students and 30000 XAF ($50) for early career researchers and professionals
