Improve land governance in Africa to encourage the sharing of prosperity

WASHINGTON, July 22, 2013 – Africa has almost half of all usable land uncultivated in the world. It is about 202 million hectares that could be exploited as well. Yet it shows the level of the world’s highest poverty. His poor performance on the development front suggests it does not take advantage of its abundant agricultural land and natural resources to initiate a shared and sustained growth. (World Bank)
