The world celebrates this August 12, 2015, the International Youth Day. The chosen thematic for this year is’ youth civic engagement. »
The African Programme for Economic and Social Development (PADES) would like to salute the efforts of all young people who are already involved in their community’s economic and social development.
PADES strongly appeals African States to support young people by providing them with good quality education and an enabling environment for youth emergence.
PADES is convinced that economic and social development from Africa cannot be achieved without the commitment and the involvement of young people.
The Executive Director takes this opportunity to launch the PADES’ new program ‘’Youth Economic and Social engagement’’ (YES).
‘’YES’’ aims to promote youth engagement in social and economic initiatives in their communities. These initiatives are designed and managed by young people across the African continent.
